BOSTON – Four programs extended win streaks last week, including Maine and UMass Lowell. Both teams posted a pair of wins vs. Division I foes last week.

- UMass Lowell beat both LIU and Dartmouth last week to extend its win streak to three games and improve to 8-4.
- Maine won a pair of road games last week, beating Atlantic 10 foe Duquesne and then defeating MAAC opponent Canisius.
- The Black Bears’ Kellen Tynes ranks fourth in the nation averaging 3.0 steals per game.
- UMass Lowell's Max Brooks ranks second in the country in field goal percentage (.733) and 11th in blocked shots per game (2.5).
- NJIT’s Tariq Francis leads the league averaging 20.3 points per game.
- This week there are 13 non-conference contests on this week’s slate.

Player of the Week
Max Brooks, UMass Lowell – Sr., Forward, Waldorf, Md.
- Averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 4.5 blocks and 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week.
- Shot 91 percent from the field (19-for-21).
- Had 18 points, nine rebounds and eight blocks against LIU.
- Finished 12-for-12 for 26 points with nine rebounds and four steals against Dartmouth.
- This is Brooks' first #AEHoops Player of the Week honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Martin Somerville, UMass Lowell – Fr., Guard, Bowie, Md.
- Averaged 10.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week.
- Had 12 points six rebounds and two steals in a win over Dartmouth.
- This is Sommerville's fifth #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor this year.
